I only made it a few hundred yards. I also realized I hadn't done *anything* to get the blood flowing in my feet before I went out into the snow. I was the guy that had run the Pikes Peak ascent and mentioned that a woman had run barefoot that day. I believe I found out who she is. Her name is Monica Madero-Craven.
