I used to be Mr. Plantar Fasciitis, I had such weak flat feet, my
podiatrists used to say I was Mr. Flat Foot, and should never go
a single step barefoot.

I used to have hard orthotics for my walking shoes, a second pair
for my motion control "slippers," a cork pair for my gym shoes,
and a carbon-fiber pair for my cycling shoes. My feet would swell
up after only a few steps barefoot, so I'd never even get out of 
bed without getting into a pair of supportive shoes.

On top of that I had hammertoes they wanted to operate on
(oh, not to mention the cortisone shots I kept getting on the
bottom of my feet...ouch!) And, I had experienced almost every
running related ailment out there - IT band syndrome, sore knees,
and sore hips, and that was BEFORE the near death accident that
left me with a titanium femur and hip.

After that accident I was told I would be lucky to keep my leg,
and never, ever run again. But by going barefoot, feeling the earth,
and using the tips, techniques, and training plan in this book,
I was almost miraculously able to run again, now marathon
distances and beyond, without any pain! Not only that,
but my podiatrists were dumbfounded,

A big key is to switch from the "mindless" running that is all too
